Chapter 8- End of the Dream
Sweet dreams, my snow white queen...the words still echoed in Amy's head as she awoke in the same place she had fainted. How much time had passed, she had no idea. A throbbing sensation in her arms indicated he had done something to her. She looked and was shocked by the sight of blood. She saw a name there. Graw. What did it mean? Was it the name of her demonic stalker?
"I had to leave my mark somehow." The chilling, seductive voice seemed to have no source, though he was clearly in front of her. Josh and Troy were in the room. Amy stood up and approached them, but they didn't seem to see her at all. She turned to

Amy anxiously waited in the doctor's office, clinging tightly to Beth's hand as she did so. The woman would be in here at any moment now. Beth hissed a few curses under her breath and tried to loosen Amy's grasp, just as the doctor came in. It was hard to tell by such a professional expression whether the woman was young or old.
"Hello, Amy," the woman said with a smile. "I understand you're having difficulties with your morning sickness, right?" Amy released Beth's hand and nodded.
"Yes, it's terrible. I've been throwing up five or six times a day and am too sick to eat more than a few bites of something."
"Lo
Worsening
Scratches up and down
Blood raining the vision
Of all the things I can't repair
I can't fix myself anymore
So I'll just keep on breaking
Until I'm gone for good
Can't stop
Won't stop
Shouldn't stop
Now that I'm worsening
Long way to fall
Before I can't anymore
First instinct
My impulse
The high
Best ride
Worst fall
I want the cycle
Need it
Crave
Bleed and cry for it
Must continue
Or else lose
My only control
The blades forbidden
There are other ways
That I can feel the hurt
It is my own paradise
No one try to save me
I'm already lost
Can't stop
Won't stop
Shouldn't stop
The pain--oh!
The craving--

Three shows were cancelled. At the next venue, Amy was soon bent over the nearest trash can dry heaving and panting heavily. Three days had passed since the nightmare incident. Beth rubbed her back comfortingly when Amy moaned miserably at the nauseous feeling that seemed to constantly be there. The hairdresser immeidately handed her a bottle of water. Amy downed nearly half of it in one desperate gulp of near dehydration. However, it was impossible for her to keep anything down for long. She grimaced and tried to ignore the churning sensation in her stomach.
"You need to see a doctor...hold on, is that Richie's phone?" Beth

The next few shows were uneventful. Amy found herself throwing up for a good part of every morning, having more headaches and needing at least one two hour nap every afternoon just so she could function.
"You need to see a doctor," Beth advised Amy as they got into their new hotel in Chile. Two weeks had passed since Amy had heard any signs from that stalker. "You seem like you've lost weight," her friend continued in concern. "At least try to make an appointment."
"Okay," Amy said. "I'll have to work it into my schedule." Unfortunately, she couldn't have even if she tried. Her calendar was completely booked for the

"I'm getting a bath!" Amy called to Beth the next night. The Amy Watch was going well so far. No one appeared to be terribly affected by the lack of sleep. Amy stepped into the bathroom and locked the door shut. She pushed the drain down and turned the water as hot as it would go. She sighed and leaned against the counter, rubbing her temples. A headache was coming on and she felt completely drained of energy. Her body sagged with exhaustion. Amy slowly pulled herself together and shrugged off the dark blue robe. The silky fabric rippled to the floor with a quiet hush. As she turned off the water and got into the tub, sh

The call Amy received two days later confirmed her suspicions. This month was really dragging by. The next week was touring, touring, and more touring, topped with interviews galore.
"I'm tired," Amy whined in their now fixed tour bus. A week and a half had passed since her fainting spell. The whole band knew of her pregnancy. Josh had yet to learn the news, as did the fans.
"Then sleep," Beth told her.
"I can't. My legs jerk and wake me up every so often." Lately, her legs had become literally restless. Luckily, this provided few issues during shows. But on the tour bus, it was a real problem. Amy kicked her legs

"Is something wrong?" Beth asked Amy as they headed into the twelve-thirty movie that afternoon.
"I'm fine," Amy insisted. Even though her headache was back and she felt like throwing up again. The question made her rather annoyed. Everything annoyed her right now. Even breathing. She wanted total silence so she could think.
"Is anyone hungry?" Tim asked the group as the previews started. They were already in their seats. Amy was absolutely starving, but she was sure one bite would send her running for the restroom.
"No," Amy mumbled.
"You said that this morning, but then you ate enough for two people," Will observed.
